Texas–Ohio State and Texas–Texas A&M Get ABC Evening Slots

Texas announced two ABC evening games in May: Ohio State in Austin on September 12 and Texas A&M at Kyle Field on November 27. Both were assigned 6:30 p.m. Central kickoffs.

Ohio State in Austin
Texas' announcement also named Austin as ESPN College GameDay's stop for the Ohio State game. The Associated Press included that visit in its report on the early-season GameDay schedule.

The rivalry at Kyle Field
The Texas A&M game is scheduled for the Friday after Thanksgiving. Texas A&M's announcement lists the same 6:30 p.m. Central kickoff and ABC broadcast.
